Kaila Nix Means attended Oklahoma State University for undergrad, where she competed on Oklahoma State’s Women’s Equestrian Team and earned a bachelor’s degree in Psychology. Kaila was a member of the Student Athletic Academic Committee while at OSU. After college, Kaila worked in the field of psychology, providing therapy for children with autism and other special needs. The following year, Kaila started law school at The University of Tulsa. There, Kaila was a member of the legal fraternity Phi Alpha Delta and was on the Board of Advocates, a trial competition group. Kaila graduated from the University of Tulsa College of Law with honors in community service.
Kaila joined The Nix Law Firm in 2017 after graduating from law school. Kaila is licensed to practice law in the state of Texas. Kaila’s main area of practice is personal injury law. As the daughter of David Nix, founder of The Nix Law Firm, Kaila was raised to be a fierce advocate for justice. As a trial lawyer, she employs those lifelong advocacy skills to zealously represent her clients through all stages of litigation.
